Who we are
Laser Eye Surgery Ireland (lasereyesurgeryireland.ie) is run by Bartlomiej Standa, trading as Elevate Ireland (Irish registered business name 790663), Co. Dublin. We are the data controller for what you send through this site. Contact: hello@lasereyesurgeryireland.ie.
Laser Eye Surgery Ireland is an introduction service, not a clinic. We do not give medical advice, examine eyes or carry out any treatment.
What we collect
From the form: whether you want one eye or both treated, the treatment you priced, the rough strength of your prescription, the aftercare you wanted and the price range you saw, your county or area, when you are thinking of it, your first name, your mobile number and, if you give it, your email. Some of this is information about your eyes and your health, which the law treats as special-category data.
We do not ask for your prescription card, scans, photos, your date of birth or your medical history, and you should not send them to us. The clinic asks what it needs at your assessment.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use your details for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to one eye clinic in Ireland so it can contact you about an assessment. Because the enquiry includes health information, we only do this with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR), which you give by ticking the box before you send it. The box is never ticked for you. The answers you tap before that step stay in your browser and are not sent unless you send the enquiry.
Who receives it
One private eye clinic in Ireland that works with us. It receives your answers and contact details and uses them to contact you about an assessment. From then on the clinic is responsible for what it does with your information, under its own privacy notice. Our hosting provider (Vercel), our encrypted lead storage and the messaging service we use to forward your enquiry process it on our behalf. We never sell your details, never pass them to more than one clinic for the same enquiry, and never add you to a marketing list.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry, stored encrypted, for up to 12 months, then delete it. Ask us and we delete it sooner.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@lasereyesurgeryireland.ie. We stop using your details and tell the clinic we passed them to. Withdrawing does not affect anything done before you asked.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, to delete them, to restrict how we use them, to object, or to get a copy to take elsewhere. Email us and we reply within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Under 18s
This site is for adults. We do not accept enquiries from anyone under 18 and we delete any we find.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which stores nothing that identifies you, and we record anonymously how far people get through the form (which step, not what was chosen with your name).
